Looks like it may be a busy week.......

 Well this weekend went by pretty quick but it was still a good weekend. Friday Justin, Rylei and I went to Sweetwater to run a few errands. Rylei was in a great mood all day so that worked out great. Friday night Amanda and Jeremy came over so Amanda and I could work on some things. That was fun! Mom and Terry also stopped by to visit RyRy. Saturday was mostly spent stuck on a fire with Justin. We did go eat at Spanish Inn with the in-laws and followed that up with Uno Attack at the house. Today it was just me and Rylei at the house so I managed to get the house cleaned and laundry done. I also made some cute cards.


 Scotti is coming to town tomorrow to see us!!! YEAH! Rylei hasn't seen her in awhile and she loves her Tia, so it will be a good time. Besides, I ALWAYS love when Scotti comes to town. For dinner we are having a big group "date" at Jaramillos with Scotti, Chris, Mom, Terry, Justin, Me and Rylei. YUMM! I also should be getting the file for college application and financial aid tomorrow so maybe I can start school. I am excited even though it seems as if no one is excited for me. As for Tuesday, I believe we are eating at moms house and hanging out again. I'm not sure what the rest off the week is up for grabs except for Saturday because that is the day I am helping Amanda with the arts and crafts show here in town. I hope that goes well and people will order.


I guess I will go for now. I am going to watch the rest of Bedtime Stories and then hit the sack.......have a good week all........

Weekend.....

  So I guess I haven't kept up with this blog as well as I intended to, but oh well I will just blog when I can. This weekend was a pretty good weekend I guess. Yesterday I went up town with mom to do some birthday shopping for a few people who have upcoming birthdays. That went pretty well except that Rylei was home with her daddy throwing a fit. Needless to say, we came back a little earlier than we thought we would. We hung around the house most of the day and decided that we needed to go to walmart for a few things (you know the necessary essentials, toilet paper, diapers, etc.) Naturally the pager went off and Justin got called out to a rescue mission at Lake J.B. Thomas. This was at around 6:00pm. Finally at 9:00 he came in. So then we finally went and ran our errands. Today Justin was in class almost all day so while Rylei was sleeping, I found something productive to do. I MADE BOW! Now they are the greatest ones out there but I am teaching myself how to expand and I only worked with the little bit of materials I had her. I think they are cute and they will only get better. I am hoping I can learn all of them so I can start selling them.

Finally about 5:00 I started dinner (meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn.......yum). I've only watched the super bowl off and on but the Packers have definitely got it. Well nothing else interesting has happened this weekend worth talking about so I guess I will sign off now. Oh! Looks who has been watching mommy blog this whole time.

Day #2 of Blogging

Well so far today was pretty productive. I mangaged to get some of the house straightened and a really cute birthday card for a very special person made and ready to send out in the mail. Here's a preview for you:

My plans was to start another birthday card that I needed to get done and maybe start Rylei's scrapbook, but shortly after finishing this card, Justin came in with lunch from Sweet Shop and Rylei had just work up from her morning nap. So I ate lunch, fed Rylei, took a much needed relaxing hot bath even thought I had already showered for the day and then I sat on the couch. At around 2:00 Justin had errands to run, so I stayed in the living room with RyRy playing with her. I thought she would be ready for an afternoon nap, but she decided she wanted to stay up. I then decided to watch Ellen and Dr. Phil while keeping her entertained of course. Finally about 4:45 she decided she was tired and I rocked her and she fell asleep almost immediately. At 5:00 Justin knocked on the back door and I had to unlock it so when I got up naturally she woke up. Her "Great" came in about 5:30 to visit right in the middle of me taking some snapshots of Rylei and her Daddy. It made for some even cuter pictures because she was excited to see a new face. This is what I got today.

Sometimes she can be a really happy baby and when she is, we are too. I am just really glad she is over her colic spells and is going to the bathroom like she should be. Well Justin made dinner again tonight. We had Goulash......it was SOOOOOOOO good!! It has been a pretty good day. Looks like I will be getting Sage at 10:30 in the morning (the little one year old I watch for those of you who didn't know) so that should make for an interesting morning. Just watched American Idol and Bones and it looks like Rylei is winding down for the night so i think I will too..........Goodnight all!!





MY FIRST BLOG!!

SO IT LOOKS LIKE I'VE MANAGED TO JOIN THIS CRAZY BANDWAGON OF THE GREAT WORLD OF BLOGGING. OH WELL I GUESS! THIS WILL GIVE ME A WAY TO KEEP MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY UPDATED ON THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR LITTLE PRINCESS AS WELL AS GENERAL THINGS GOING ON IN OUR LIVES AND JUST PLAIN RANDOMNESS. I HOPE ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO FOLLOW WILL ENJOY.

  AS MOST OF YOU KNOW, WE ARE NEW PARENTS TO A TWO AND A HALF MONTH OLD BABY GIRL, RYLEI NICOLE. IT HAS ALREADY HAD ITS SHARE OF UPS AND DOWNS (I.E
LATE NIGHT FEEDINGS, COLIC SPELLS, ETC.) I COULD SAY THAT I HAVEN'T ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE BUT THEN I WOULD BE LYING. RYLEI IS A VERY UNIQUE BABY AND I HAVE TO SAY A VERY SPOILED BABY AT THAT. HOWEVER, SHE HAS THESE MOMENTS DURING THE DAY THAT FEW PEOPLE HAVE THE PLEASURE OF SEEING, WHERE YOU JUST SEEM TO FORGET THE HOURS UPON HOURS OF WHINING AND CRYING. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THIS BABY AND LOVE BEING A MOMMY EVEN MORE! I CAN'T PROMISE THAT THIS BLOG WILL BE VERY ENTERTAINING BUT I CAN PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE REAL LIFE AND WHAT GOES ON DAY TO DAY IN THE JOHNSTON HOUSEHOLD AND ALL THE JOYS THAT COME ALONG WITH BEING PARENTS.
